Privacy policy

Sunns Technologies is responsible for the personal information described here. Our head office is in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India.

For anything about your personal information, write to support@sunnstech.com.

When you send a quote request, we receive what you enter in the form:

• Your name, company, country and email address, and your Telegram username if you give it.
• Details of the tool you need: the family, part number or configuration, quantity, machine, wire, pad size and your notes.
• Any drawings or files you attach.

When you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

When you message us on Telegram, we receive your Telegram name and username and what you send. That chat runs on Telegram, and Telegram's own privacy policy applies to it.

We count visits with Plausible Analytics, which runs on our own server at analytics.sunnstech.com. It records the page you visit, the site that referred you, your browser, operating system, device type and country. It sets no cookies and does not identify you or follow you across other websites. Your IP address is used only to work out the country and to tell one visit from another for that day, and it is not stored.

• The website has no accounts, logins or payments.
• It does not use cookies, advertising trackers or social media widgets.
• It does not store anything in your browser.
• Its fonts and 3D models are served from our own website, so loading a page does not send your details to font or model providers.

Like any website, the server that hosts it records basic technical information about each visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the pages and keep the site secure. The website runs on our own server, rented from Vultr, a cloud hosting company. These logs are deleted after 30 days at most.

We use your information only to:

• Reply to your request and prepare a quotation.
• Make and inspect your tools, if you order.
• Keep a record of our business correspondence.
• Count visits to the website, to see which pages and tools people look at.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to keep you informed. You give it to us by sending the form or an email, and you can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us.

• Our partner factory in China, which makes our tools and receives the tool details and drawings it needs to quote, make and inspect them.
• Vultr, which hosts our server, including the part that receives the quote form.
• Zoho, an Indian company, whose ZeptoMail service carries quote requests from the website to our sales inbox (sales@sunnstech.com) and whose Zoho Mail hosts our email, including support@sunnstech.com.
• Authorities, where the law requires us to.

Because our partner factory is in China, your information may be processed outside India.

We keep quote requests and correspondence that do not lead to an order for three years, then delete them. Records linked to an order are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting rules require.

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct or complete it.
• Delete it, where we no longer need to keep it.
• Stop using it, by withdrawing your consent.

Write to support@sunnstech.com. We will reply as soon as we can. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can raise a complaint with the data protection authority where you live.

The website is served over an encrypted connection, and we limit access to quote requests and drawings to the people who need them to answer you and make your tools. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, but we take reasonable care to protect it.

This website is for businesses. It is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
